YMCA Dorchester Gymnastics Club is looking for gymnastics coaches.
If you’re dedicated to helping children have fun, get fit and improve their general health and well-being in a safe environment, and hold a level 1 or 2 qualification in gymnastics coaching and/or Level 2 in trampolining or pre-school gymnastics, then we want to hear from you.
Job description:
YMCA Dorchester Gymnastics is looking to recruit friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and fun coaches who can lead, plan and think on their feet to join our team of coaches to work within our recreational programme, pre-school programme and our ever-popular programme for young people with disabilities.
If you are motivated and passionate about gymnastics, can share that passion with children and thrive on seeing others develop, then we want to hear from you. The role will involve delivering dynamic and progressive sessions to a wide range of ages and abilities.
We are looking for Level 1 & 2 coaches and anyone interested in gaining a coaching qualification, who would like some part-time work in the daytimes, evenings and Saturdays. There is a possibility of a full-time role for the right coach.
We expect our coaches to have the following attributes:
• Excellent time keeping and reliability.
• Strong working ethos and desire to help all gymnasts fulfil their potential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to work co-operatively within a team.
• Be able to work on your own initiative.
• Willingness to develop new skills and commitment to training opportunities.
Qualifications:
British Gymnastics Level 1 or Level 2 in General or Pre-School or interested in working towards a qualification.
Coaching Hours:
We have daytime pre-school hours available from January 2022.
Evening & Saturday hours available as soon as possible.
A full-time post could be available for the right candidate.
Pay/Salary:
Dependent upon experience and qualifications.
